Package Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)
After your arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from our office will pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your hotel. You will have the rest of the day off Overnight in Kathmandu.
 

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Trip Preparation
After breakfast, you will visit three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases superb architecture of ancient Nepal. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus all over the world. The Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world. There will be a group discussion followed by trek preparation during late afternoon at our office Overnight in Kathmandu. (B)
 

Day 03: Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3 - 4 hours
After breakfast, you take around a 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. During the flight, you get beautiful views of the terraced landscape and river valleys below along with up-close perspectives of some of the world’s highest mountains on your left. In Lukla, you will meet local staff who will be accompanying you on your journey. Today, you will have to hike only for a short while to Phakding for acclimatization Overnight in Phakding.  (BLD)
 

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5 - 6 hours
After walking for around one hour, you come across the glistening Mt. Thamserku on your right. You will also see beautiful Sherpa villages and experience the serenity of pine, fir, and juniper forests along the way. If the weather is clear, you might even catch a glimpse of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. You continue walking until you reach Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mt. Everest and the main trading centre of this region. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. (BLD)
 

Day 05: Namche Bazaar (Acclimatization/Rest Day)
Today is set aside for acclimatization. After breakfast, you visit the Tourist Visitor Center to look at souvenirs related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and a variety of flora and fauna of the Everest region. Then, you climb up to the famous airstrip at Syangboche. Just above the airstrip is the Everest View Hotel, which provides amazing views of the highest mountains on Earth. From here, you come back to Namche via Khumjung valley. On the way, visit a sacred monastery that houses a yeti scalp and the Hillary School. Overnight in Namche. (BLD)
 

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole (4,038m): 5 - 6 hours
Descend towards the Dudhkoshi River at Phortse Bridge. From the bridge, trek uphill to the top of the valley. From the top you can enjoy excellent view of Cho-Oyu (8,153m). The trail is now beyond the tree line and passes through beautiful waterfalls before reaching small yak herding settlements of Tongba and Gyele. From there it is a short distance to Dole. In Dole you can explore the upper Dole Valley to enjoy fantastic views of Cho-Oyo and Gyachung Kang (7,922m) to the north, and Taweche and Cholatse across the valley to the east Overnight in Dole. Day 07: Trek from Dole to Machhermo (4,465m): 3 - 4 hours
Today’s trek begins with a climb out of Dole before ascending the Dudh Koshi valley, high above the river. The walk is easy although the effects of altitude begin to kick in even in the smallest hills. After a few hours of walking you will reach Luza before reaching Machhermo. In Machhermo you can explore the rocky moraines to the base of Kyajo Ri and Machhermo Peak. You can also visit Himalayan Rescue Hospital. Doctors provide information at the hospital on altitude sickness from 3 PM. Overnight in Machhermo. (BLD)
 

Day 08: Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo (4800 m): 4 -5 hours
For a few days, you have been trekking only for around 4 hours in order to get properly acclimatized to the high altitude. The trail begins with a short climb to the Dudh Koshi valley. The valley widens as you pass through Pangka and on the terminal moraines of Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal.  Walk on a steep rocky trail and pass through two lakes before reaching the third lake at Gokyo. If the weather is fine, you can climb to the ridge at the back of Gokyo for excellent views of the mighty Ngozumpa Glacier. Overnight in Gokyo. (BLD)
 

Day 09: Hike –up Gokyo RI (5357m) and back to Gokyo (4800 m): 4 - 5 hours
From Gokyo, you rise early to ascent Gokyo Ri (5,360m). The walk up the mountain is steep and tiring due to the high altitude. From top of Gokyo Ri you will be rewarded with views of the amazing Himalayan vista. The peaks you see from the summit include four  8000-metre peaks including Everest (8,848m), Cho-Oyo (8,153m), Lhotse (8,511m) and Makalu (8,48m). Countless other towering snow-capped peaks fill the horizons. In addition, bird’s eye views of the Gokyo Lakes and Ngozumpa Glacier are yours to look at. Descend down the valley beneath and continue down Gokyo. (BLD)
 

Day 10: Trek from Gokyo to Dole (4038 m): 5– 6 hours
After Breakfast You will trek down to Dole on an easy trail the trail passes through a forest and the Ngozumpa Glacier through Dudh Koshi River.  If lucky one may even spot the beautiful musk deer which are often seen in this section of the trail. During the way you can see Beautiful View of Cho Oyu, Tharmserku, Kangtega and many other peaks Overnight stay in Dole  (BLD)
 

Day 11: Trek from Dole to Namche Bazaar (3440m): 5- 6 hours
Trek to Namche Bazaar through beautiful hills blanketed by rhododendron and juniper trees. One can get remarkable views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Nuptse mountains. After 6 hour Trekking we reach to the beautiful Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar Overnight in Namche Bazaar. (BLD)
 

Day 12: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m): 6 - 8 hours
Retrace your steps to Lukla, an ideal place to relax and celebrate your trip to the base camp. As the local staff you met in Lukla will not be accompanying you to Kathmandu, today is last day you celebrate your accomplishment together. Overnight in Lukla. (BLD)
 

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu
Take an early morning flight to Kathmandu. Your trip leader will drop you off at your hotel and you will have the rest of the day off to do whatever you please. You may stroll around the streets in Thamel, a popular Tourist hub in Kathmandu for some souvenir shopping. You may also visit popular tourist attractions nearby. Either way, there will be a farewell dinner to celebrate your achievement of successfully reaching overnight in Kathmandu. (BD)
 

Day 14: Final Departure
Today is last day of your trip in Nepal. As per your Flight ticket Drive to International airport for final departure from Kathmandu with unforgettable Journey.  (B)
